Privacy Policy

GRVT Fitness is software that gyms and studios use to run their business: a web workspace, the GRVT Fitness Business app for their team, and the GRVT Fitness app for their members. This policy explains what data the service handles and why. It is published by GRVT, Inc. (“GRVT”, “we”).

Who is responsible for your data

If you are a member of a studio, your studio decides what it records about you and is responsible for it (the “controller”). GRVT stores and processes that data on the studio’s behalf (the “processor”) and only to provide the service. For questions about what your studio holds, contact your studio first; you can also write to us.

If you are a studio owner or staff member, GRVT is responsible for your account data.

What we handle

• Contact details your studio records: name, email, phone, and optionally date of birth and an emergency contact.
• Membership and activity: plans, class bookings, check-ins, waitlists, freeze requests and notes your studio adds.
• Payments: order and payment records. Card details are entered with and held by our payment processor (Stripe); GRVT never sees full card numbers.
• Account and sign-in: your email and sign-in sessions. Members sign in with an emailed link; staff with a password.
• Marketing consent: whether you agreed to email or SMS marketing from your studio, and when.

The apps do not use advertising, do not track you across other apps or websites, and do not collect your location, contacts, photos or health data.

How it is used

• To let you book classes, manage your membership and see your history.
• To let your studio run its schedule, check-ins, billing and member records.
• To send service emails you ask for, such as sign-in links and password resets.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell personal data or use it to advertise to you.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers who process data for us under contract:

• Supabase (database and sign-in) and Vercel (hosting).
• Resend (sign-in and account emails).
• Stripe (payments, where the studio has turned them on).

Retention and deletion

Studio data is kept while the studio uses GRVT Fitness and deleted after the studio closes its account, except where records must be kept by law (for example, payment records). Members can ask their studio to correct or delete their data, or write to us and we will pass the request to the studio and help it complete it. Staff can ask us to delete their account at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict some processing. Email hi@grvt.fit and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. Studios are responsible for consent when they record minors.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and note the date above.
